ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Hi! We are six students - Anne, Lisa, Sophie, Thessa, Vera, Xiao -  from the Rachel Carson Center taking part in an environmental ethics seminar in which we created an environmental song playlist for you: Planet Notes.

In the following, we are presenting the different songs subdivided into six theme blocks, from love for the environment to how we can do better. Each song comes along with a little description. It is not a very extensive playlist; for sure there are a lot more environmental songs. For example, the well-known Earth Song from Michael Jackson is not included. It was our goal to not only collect songs from the USA written in English. Therefore, we also collected songs in German, Canadian, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
