The lyrics give a great example of what this “environment” can be. Maybe it is all of our surroundings that contribute to our lives. Manu Chao helps us think about this and gives love to every aspect.

Without having specific lyrics, Vivaldi’s musical piece from 1725 provokes a deep inner feeling for the world surrounding us. The violins imitating birds, a shepherd’s dance and even the barking of a dog in the background let us dream of a day in spring when we can feel the sun getting stronger after the cold winter and the rebirth of the outside activities. The entire melody makes us think of a musical translation of natural beauty and the natural composition. We would even say, that after listening to “Spring” you can’t do anything else but go out and start dancing in the middle of that natural beauty.

“I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself: What a wonderful world”. This classic from 1968 performed by Louis Armstrong, emerged in the time of the civil rights movement and demonstrations against the Vietnam war. The song opens the listener’s eyes for the beauty in his/her daily life’s environment in spite of a frightening political situation. Louis Armstrong sings of the beauty of nature, the sun, the colors and friendship to show how beautiful the world with its inhabitants is. What is left, is the knowledge of how important those “little” things are for our well-being.
